Risk Manager - Power Trading

RJC have partnered with an elite energy trader who are looking for a Senior Risk Manager to grow their global market presence across Gas & Power markets.

You'll design and implement a fit-for-purpose risk framework to support short-term/intraday power trading activities across European markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and implement real-time risk monitoring tools and processes
  • Define risk metrics and trading limits (e.g., P&L, VaR, positions)
  • Conduct stress testing and scenario analysis
  • Work closely with traders, tech, and leadership to embed a strong risk culture

Requirements:

  • Experience in risk management within  power trading (preferably short-term/intraday)
  • ???????Strong understanding of European power markets and trading risks
  • Python/SQL and familiarity with algo trading risk
